# Protect Server

`POST /servers/{id}/protection`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.bitlaunch.io/api`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Change whether a server has DDoS protection.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `enable` boolean, required: Set `true` to enable protection. Set `false` to disable protection.
  - `region` string, required: The DDoS prevention server to use (`"bvm-lux"` is currently only one available). When disabling set region to `""`.
