# List available currencies for collateral

`GET /api/prime/trading/v1/accounts/{accountId}/margin/collateral/currencies`

Returns the list of currencies that are available for use as collateral.

A list of available currencies for collateral

- object
  - `availableCurrencies` Currency[]: Returns a Currency object that consists of the ID, Name, Symbol, Increment, and PlatformSymbol for the instrument
    - `id` string, uuid, required: ID of the currency
    - `symbol` string, required: Symbol of the currency
    - `name` string, required: Name of the currency
    - `increment` string, decimal, required: This is the smallest amount that can be traded for the currency.
    - `platformSymbol` string: The BitGo platform symbol for this currency.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication
- `403`: Forbidden - Insufficient permissions
- `500`: Internal Server Error
