# Retrieve Orders (by symbol)

`POST /auth/r/orders/{symbol}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bitfinex.com/v2`
- URL: `https://api.bitfinex.com/v2/auth/r/orders/{symbol}`
- Auth: none required

Gets all the current user's active orders by trading pair symbol (e.g. tBTCUSD, tLTCBTC, ...).

## Path parameters

- `symbol` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `id` integer[]: Allows you to retrieve specific orders by order ID (can be omitted to return all active orders).
  - `gid` integer: Filter results based on Group ID (int45)
  - `cid` integer: Filter based on Client ID. To use this, a cid_date must also be provided (int45)
  - `cid_date` string: Provide alongside a cid to filter based on Client ID. Format: "YYYY-MM-DD"
