# Volume volatility

`GET /api/v1/coins/{slug}/indicators/volume-volatility`

Daily volume-volatility index — the dispersion of daily trading volume over
the window, a read on how erratic participation has been. Windows: 7, 14, 30
days (default 7) — the 30-day window requires the Starter plan or higher.

## Query parameters

- `period` integer — Window length — one of 7, 14, 30 (default 7).
- `start` string — ISO date lower bound.
- `end` string — ISO date upper bound.
- `limit` integer — Max rows (1–1000, default 365).
