# Batch resolve symbols

`POST /api/v1/symbols/resolve/batch`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bitcompare.net`
- URL: `https://api.bitcompare.net/api/v1/symbols/resolve/batch`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Resolve up to 100 symbols in a single request. Requires a plan with bulk endpoints enabled.

## Request body

- object
  - `symbols` string[], required: Up to 100 symbols to resolve in a single request
  - `context` string: Source exchange or quote currency applied to every input symbol

## Response `200`

Successful response

- object
  - `resolved` object[], required
    - `input` string, required: The raw symbol that was queried
    - `coinId` string, required: Canonical Bitcompare coin ID
    - `symbol` string, required: Canonical symbol
    - `name` string, required: Coin display name

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: API key is valid but your plan does not grant access to this endpoint (e.g. Intelligence or bulk tier required)
- `429`: Plan rate limit exceeded — see X-RateLimit-* headers and Retry-After
