# Historical rates

`GET /api/v1/rates/{symbol}/history`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bitcompare.net`
- URL: `https://api.bitcompare.net/api/v1/rates/{symbol}/history`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - HTTP bearer

Historical rate timeseries for a symbol. Recent history (~30 days) is per-tick; older history is daily granularity. Depth is clamped to your plan (up to 365 days on Pro) and bounded by how far back data has been recorded.

- `symbol` string, required: Coin symbol, case-insensitive
