# Head to head

`POST /v1/get_head_to_head`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://mcp.birdieapi.com`
- URL: `https://mcp.birdieapi.com/v1/get_head_to_head`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Use to compare two players: every tournament both played with each one's finish, who finished ahead (making the cut beats missing it), round-by-round strokes on the same course, and a summary. Filter by season. Costs 5 credits.

## Request body

- object
  - `player_a` string, required: First player id.
  - `player_b` string, required: Second player id.
  - `season` union: Season year, e.g. 2025.
    - string
    - number
  - `league` 'golf' | 'lpga' | 'liv' | 'dpwt' | 'kornferry': League. Defaults to golf. One of: golf, lpga, liv, dpwt, kornferry.

## Response `200`

The result, wrapped in data.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid arguments.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
