# Attach a file to a ticket

`POST /api/v1/integration/add-ticket-attachment`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://toolkit.browserstack.com`
- URL: `https://toolkit.browserstack.com/api/v1/integration/add-ticket-attachment`
- Auth: API key in cookie `_wdt_rails_session`

Attaches one file (the diff image of a Visual Overlay finding) to a ticket created through the central integrations service.

  - `project_id` string

## Other responses

- `401`: Tool connection lapsed
- `422`: Attachment refused
- `504`: Upload sent but not confirmed — check the ticket before retrying
