# Import a workspace export

`POST /workspaces/import`

## Request

Brings a Binderwork workspace export from another instance in as a new workspace you own. Every file is checked against the manifest and every chain segment against its hashes and anchors before anything is written; a mismatch names the file. Records arrive with new IDs, the prior audit chain is kept as it was, and the new chain starts with workspace.imported naming it. Members, API keys and agent connections don't move: the result lists the people to invite again.
