# Preview a team import

`POST /team/import/check`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://localhost:4410/api/v1`
- URL: `https://localhost:4410/api/v1/team/import/check`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Reads a CSV or XLSX of people (BambooHR's and Gusto's export columns, or name, email, title, start date, work state and kind) and shows each row as it would import: new, matched to an existing party by email, or on Team already, with anything it couldn't read. Nothing is saved.
