# Withdraw a departure

`POST /team/departures/{departure_id}/cancel`

## Request

Withdraws a departure recorded by mistake before it was announced: its tasks close as not applicable, the member's access stays, and its draft letter is no longer filed. The record stays in the audit log. Once announced, it can't be withdrawn.
