# Record an MFN holder's answer

`POST /safes/mfn/notices/{notice_id}/answer`

## Request

An officer records the holder's written answer to an MFN notice, with the holder's document: they elect the terms of one later SAFE, or decline. The closing item is resolved. After an election, safe.mfn.amend drafts the amended and restated SAFE.
