# Record a transfer of stock to a service provider

`POST /rounds/{round_id}/closing/transfers`

Records that a document transfers stock to someone in connection with services, with the holder and the date, which adds that holder's 83(b) election to the checklist, due 30 days after the transfer. The election is the holder's own filing.
