# Publish an answer

`POST /room-questions/{question_id}/answer`

## Request

Publishes a member's answer to a reader's question, to the asker only or to everyone who can open the room, under the member's name. Other readers never see who asked. The asker gets the question and the answer by email unless they unticked it. An agent's or API key's answer waits for a member to approve the exact text.
