# Read an envelope's history

`GET /envelopes/{envelope_id}/history`

## Request

What happened to an envelope, oldest first, in plain words: prepared, sent, each signer opening it, agreeing to sign electronically, confirming a code, signing or declining, reminders (automatic or not), changes, voiding and completion. The evidence bundle keeps every event with its hashes.
