# Fill in a draft's blanks

`PATCH /drafts/{draft_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://localhost:4410/api/v1`
- URL: `https://localhost:4410/api/v1/drafts/{draft_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sets blanks by name. An agent or API key passes each value with source_quote and source_ref, a stored document version the quote must appear in; Binderwork checks the quote and calls no model. A name that isn't one of the template's blanks, and directors or officers, which come from the records, are refused field by field and nothing is written.
