# Cancel options from a grant

`POST /captable/grants/{grant_id}/cancel`

Drafts a cancellation of a grant on a date: by default the options not yet vested on that date, which return to the pool once an officer confirms it. Pass options to cancel another number, such as vested options whose exercise period ended. Binderwork never cancels options on its own.
