# Add an address to my binder

`POST /binder/addresses`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://localhost:4410/api/v1`
- URL: `https://localhost:4410/api/v1/binder/addresses`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Emails a six-digit code to an address you use, such as a personal one next to your work one. Once you enter it with binder.address.verify, papers sent there are filed in the same binder.

## Response `200`

The result.

## Other responses

- `202`: Called by an agent or an API key, so the call did not run. A person approves it at approval_url; then GET the Location.
- `default`: An RFC 9457 problem.
