# Get Cobra Event By Id

`GET /api/hris/v1/cobra-events/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bindbee.dev` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.bindbee.dev/api/hris/v1/cobra-events/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer and API key in header `X-Connector-Token`

Returns a COBRA Event object with the given id.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `include_raw_data` boolean: Whether to include the original data Bindbee fetched from the third-party to produce these models.
- `include_custom_fields` boolean: Whether to include custom fields in the response.
- `expand` string, nullable: Which relations should be returned in expanded form. Multiple relation names should be comma separated without spaces. You can also specify required fields in [] for each relation name. Add `.custom_fields` to return an expanded record's custom fields, or `.custom_fields[name,other_name]` for only those (quote a name holding anything but letters, digits, `_` and `-`: `.custom_fields["wd:Visa_ID"]`).

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- HrisCobraEvent: The COBRA Event object groups everyone who became COBRA eligible through the same qualifying event: the employee, their covered dependents, or both.
  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `remote_id` string, nullable, required: The third-party API ID of the matching object.
  - `modified_at` string, date-time, required: This is the datetime that this object was last updated by Bindbee
  - `raw_data` object, nullable: This is the Raw data
  - `custom_fields` object, nullable, required: The custom fields related to the model
  - `employee` string, nullable, required: The employee the event belongs to. Populated even when only dependents are affected, so the employee is always known.
  - `is_employee_covered` boolean, nullable, required: Whether the employee is a beneficiary of this event, as on a termination. False for a dependent-only event, such as a divorce or a dependent aging out.
  - `covered_dependents` unknown[], nullable, required: The dependents who are beneficiaries of this event.
    - unknown
  - `qualifying_event_reason` string, nullable, required: The reason for the event as recorded in the third-party system, passed through as is.
  - `event_category` string, nullable, required: The federal COBRA qualifying event derived from qualifying_event_reason. OTHER when the reason matches no federal event.
  - `qualifying_event_date` string, nullable, required: The date of the qualifying event as the third-party system records it. It can differ from the date coverage is lost, so COBRA notice deadlines are not always counted from it.
  - `linked_employer_benefits` unknown[], nullable, required: The employer benefit plans the event relates to. Null when the third-party system does not tie COBRA data to plans.
    - unknown

## Other responses
