# Delete a bill approval policy

`DELETE /v3/bill-approvals/policies/{policyId}`

Delete an existing bill approval policy. A deleted approval policy cannot be restored.   The deleted policy is not available in the list of approval policies.

## Path parameters

- `policyId` string, required: BILL-generated ID of the approval policy. The value is in the `{organization_id}-{unique_id}` format.
