# Changes only the contact fields sent (BF-7503): JSON Merge Patch.

`PATCH /v{version}/Clients/{clientId}/contacts/{contactId}`

Same fields as PUT; null clears title, phone or phoneExt. isActive and middleName are a 400.
clientId and contactId in the body must equal the route.
