# List voices

`GET /api/v1/voice/voices`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://your-deployment.example.com`
- URL: `https://your-deployment.example.com/api/v1/voice/voices`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Lists the voices available in the configured ElevenLabs workspace. The list is not paged: it is the whole workspace catalog, cached in memory per server instance for up to 15 minutes. `GET /api/voice/v2/voices` is a legacy alias of this endpoint. Authenticate with an API key (`b4m_live_`) or a JWT.

## Response `200`

The workspace voices.

- ListVoicesResponse200
  - `voices` object[], required
    - `id` string, required: ElevenLabs voice id.
    - `name` string, required
    - `labels` object, required: Provider-supplied labels (accent, gender, age, descriptive). May be empty.
    - `previewUrl` string: Short preview MP3 hosted by ElevenLabs, when the provider has one.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: The API key does not hold `ai:generate`, or Voice is not enabled on this deployment (`voiceV2Enabled` is off).
- `405`: The path does not serve this HTTP method.
- `502`: ElevenLabs failed to return the voice list.
- `503`: This deployment has no ElevenLabs server API key configured (`errorCode: "provider_not_configured"`).
