# Get defects for a vehicle

`GET /v1/vehicles/{vehicleId}/defects`

Retrieve a paged collection of defects for a specific vehicle (required scope vehicles:read)

- `status` 'open' | 'inProgress' | 'closed': Status of a vehicle defect<p>Possible values:</p><ul><li><b>open</b>: Defect is open</li><li><b>inProgress</b>: Defect is in progress</li><li><b>closed</b>: Defect has been closed</li></ul>
- `reportedFrom` string, date-time
- `reportedTo` string, date-time
- `pageNumber` integer
- `pageSize` integer

  - `items` ReadVehicleDefectModel[]: The items returned for the requested page
    - `defectId` integer: The unique identifier of the defect
    - `vehicleId` integer: The unique identifier of the vehicle
    - `reportedByResourceId` integer, nullable: The unique identifier of the resource who reported the defect
    - `severity` string: The severity level of the defect
    - `category` string: The category of the defect
    - `description` string: A description of the defect
    - `status` 'open' | 'inProgress' | 'closed': Status of a vehicle defect<p>Possible values:</p><ul><li><b>open</b>: Defect is open</li><li><b>inProgress</b>: Defect is in progress</li><li><b>closed</b>: Defect has been closed</li></ul>
    - `occurredAt` string, date-time: The date and time when the defect occurred
    - `createdAt` string, date-time: The date and time when the defect record was created
  - `pageNumber` integer: The page number of the response where 1 is the first page
  - `pageSize` integer: The number of items requested for the current page
  - `pageItemCount` integer: The number of items returned in the current page
