# Cancel a job

`PUT /v1/jobs/{jobId}/cancel`

## Request

Cancels a specific job. The job cannot be cancelled if it has already been started, suspended or completed (required scope jobs:write)

## Request body

- CancelJobModel: Represents a model that holds information about cancelling a job
  - `reason` string, nullable: A textual reason as to why the job is cancelled

## Response `204`

No Content

- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `422`: Unprocessable Content
- `500`: Internal Server Error
