# Get a list of job group categories

`GET /v1/jobGroups/categories`

## Request

Retrieve a paged collection of job categories applicable to job groups (required scope jobs:read)

## Query parameters

- `name` string
- `isActive` boolean
- `pageNumber` integer
- `pageSize` integer

OK

- PagedResponseReadJobCategoryModel: A paged collection of items
  - `items` ReadJobCategoryModel[]: The items returned for the requested page
    - `id` integer: The unique identifier of the job category
    - `name` string: The name of the job category
    - `isActive` boolean: Whether the job category is currently active
    - `visibility` string[]: The entities the job category is visible for. Contains "Job", "Group", or both
  - `pageNumber` integer: The page number of the response where 1 is the first page
  - `pageSize` integer: The number of items requested for the current page
  - `pageItemCount` integer: The number of items returned in the current page

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `500`: Internal Server Error
