# Create a new flag for a sales opportunity

`POST /v1/finance/salesOpportunities/{opportunityId}/flags`

Create a new flag for a Sales Opportunity (required scope finance:write)

## Request body

- CreateEntityFlagModel: Request model for creating a flag on any supported entity type
  - `flagId` integer, required: The unique identifier of the flag to apply
  - `owner` string: User email or ID who owns the flag
  - `comments` string, nullable: Additional context for the flag

## Response `201`

Created

- PostResponseInt64: Represents a response for a POST request, containing the ID of the newly created record
  - `id` integer: Identifier of the newly created record
