# Update an attachment's metadata

`PUT /v1/attachments/{attachmentId}`

Updates the metadata of a single attachment (required scope attachments:write)

## Path parameters

- `attachmentId` integer, required

## Headers

- `Customer-Id` integer, required

## Request body

- UpdateAttachmentModel: Represents a model containing information for updating an attachment's metadata
  - `fileName` string: The file name to assign to the attachment<br/> <br/>Validation:<br/>- Required<br/>- Maximum length of 250 characters
  - `isVisibleToResource` boolean: Whether the attachment should be visible to the resource

No Content
