# Player career averages (season-by-season)

`GET /v1/players/{id}/career`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bigballsdata.com`
- URL: `https://api.bigballsdata.com/v1/players/{id}/career`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Season-by-season career averages, most recent first, sport-dispatched on
the player's sport (check meta.sport). NBA: one row per (season, team)
with season, team, abbr, gp, ppg, rpg, apg, mpg, had_postseason. NHL:
rows carry game_type plus goals/assists/points/plus_minus/pim/sog/hits/
blk/toi (skaters) or saves/shots_against/goals_against/shutouts (goalies).
Twin-safe. 1-hour Redis cache.
