# NHL statistical leaders

`GET /v1/nhl/leaders`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer

Goals, assists, points and shots are licensed all-situations box-score
totals. `xg` is the compatibility view of our own all-situations shot
model over licensed play-by-play, joined to those season totals to
preserve the legacy `min_games` filter and response envelope. Only
seasons present in that computed model are available for `xg`; an
unsupported historical season returns 404 rather than falling back to
source-restricted rows. The additional metrics are full-situation
season totals and are included only where the box-score aggregate does
not already hold the same field.
