# Catalogue of available NFL snapshot surfaces

`GET /v1/nfl/surfaces`

## Request

Lists every NFL snapshot surface we store, with its row count, the
seasons present, the plan needed to read it and when it last updated.
Call this first: it is the discovery endpoint for
GET /v1/nfl/surfaces/{surface}, and it tells you what a surface costs
before you are refused by it.

A "surface" is one upstream product family, not a playing surface:
season and advanced stats, schedules, standings, rosters, player
designations, fantasy projections/rankings/ADP, and betting market
snapshots. 22 surfaces, 572,842 rows as of 2026-10-09.

17 surfaces are available on Free. The 5 market surfaces
(`player_props`, `opening_player_props`, `dfs_draftables`,
`opening_odds`, `dfs_slates`) require Edge or above, the same band as
every other prop and odds endpoint. This catalogue is readable on every
plan, including the rows for surfaces your plan cannot yet fetch.
