This layer provides geological descriptions associated with offshore sampling activities. It contains a variety of geoscientific observations; these include rock/sediment classification, grain size, sorting, sphericity, roundness, hardness, plasticity, presence of flora or fauna, colour, chronostratigraphy and lithostratigraphy.
