# Delete phone number

`DELETE /projects/{project_id}/agent/phones/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.beyondwords.io/v1`
- URL: `https://api.beyondwords.io/v1/projects/{project_id}/agent/phones/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Disconnect a phone number from the agent (the number itself stays available for reuse on other projects)

## Response `204`

removes the phone number

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid authentication token
- `404`: Agent beta not enabled for this organization
- `422`: phone number not found
