# Delete a user

`DELETE /v2/users/{user_id}`

To delete a user for a tenant, send a DELETE request to `/v2/users/$USER_ID`.
A successful request will receive a 200 status code with nothing in the response's body. This indicates that the request was processed successfully.

The action was successful and the response body is empty.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized.
- `403`: Forbidden.
- `404`: The resource was not found.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
- `500`: Server error.
