# Poll async task status

`GET /api/v3/tasks/procedure-run-plan/promote/{task_id}`

Poll the status of the "Promote a ProcedureRunPlan into an active ProcedureRun" task.

Promote a procedure run plan into an active procedure run. The plan must not already be promoted. Returns an async task — poll the task endpoint for completion and the created procedure run ID
