# Batch update Salt

`PATCH /api/v3/salt:batch-update`

## Request

Batch update Salt synchronously in one transaction. Maximum 25 items per request.

  - `items` UpdateSaltInputWithPathParams[], required
    - `archiveReason` string: Why it is being archived. Required when `archived` is `true`, and not allowed when unarchiving.
    - `archived` boolean: Set to `true` to archive or `false` to unarchive it. Archiving requires `archiveReason`.
    - `code` string, nullable: Configurable identifier for this salt. Must be unique (case-insensitive) across the Salt & Solvate library.
    - `id` string, required
    - `name` string: The name of the salt. Must be unique (case-insensitive) across the Salt & Solvate library.

    - `code` string, nullable: Optional configurable identifier for this salt (e.g., "HCl", "MS"). Unique across both salts and solvents within a tenant.
    - `createdAt` string, datetime
    - `id` string
    - `modifiedAt` string, datetime
    - `molecularFormula` string: The molecular formula (e.g., "HCl").
    - `molfile` string: The molfile representation of the salt.
    - `name` string
