# Get a team by ID

`GET /teams/{team_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://{tenant_name}.benchling.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://{tenant_name}.benchling.com/api/v2/teams/{team_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a team by ID if the caller has permission to view. The following roles have view permission:
  - tenant admins
  - members of the team's organization
