# Archive RNA Sequences

`POST /rna-sequences:archive`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://{tenant_name}.benchling.com/api/v2`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Archive RNA Sequences. RNA sequences that are already registered will not be removed from the registry.

## Request body

- RnaSequencesArchive: The request body for archiving RNA sequences.
  - `reason` 'Made in error' | 'Retired' | 'Expended' | 'Shipped' | 'Contaminated' | 'Expired' | 'Missing' | 'Other', required: The reason for archiving the provided entities. Accepted reasons may differ based on tenant configuration.
  - `rnaSequenceIds` string[], required

## Response `200`

OK

- RnaSequencesArchivalChange: IDs of all RNA Sequences that were archived or unarchived, grouped by resource type.
  - `rnaSequenceIds` string[]

- `400`: Bad Request
