# Archive dropdown options

`POST /dropdowns/{dropdown_id}/options:archive`

Archive options belonging to a dropdown

## Path parameters

- `dropdown_id` string, required

## Request body

- DropdownOptionsArchive
  - `dropdownOptionIds` string[]: Array of dropdown option IDs
  - `reason` 'Made in error' | 'Retired' | 'Other': Reason that dropdown options are being archived.

## Response `200`

OK

- DropdownOptionsArchivalChange: IDs of all items that were archived or unarchived.
  - `dropdownOptionIds` string[]

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
