# Update a skill

`PATCH /api/public/organizations/{orgId}/skills/{id}`

## Request

Updates an existing skill. Requires admin access to the organization.

## Path parameters

- `orgId` string, required: Organization ID
- `id` string, required: Skill ID

  - `name` string: Human-readable skill name
  - `description` string, nullable: Optional routing description for the skill
  - `instructions` string: Full reusable skill instructions
