# Restore a deleted table

`POST /v1/tables/{tableId}/restore`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.banksync.io`
- URL: `https://api.banksync.io/v1/tables/{tableId}/restore`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Bring a table back from the trash, with its rows intact. A deleted table is retained for 30 days; after the retention sweep it is gone and this returns 404. The counterpart to DELETE — without it a headless caller could delete a table it could never undo.

## Path parameters

- `tableId` string, required: Table ID

## Response `200`

Table restored

- object
  - `success` true, required
  - `restored` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failed, or a read-only field was written — `code` names the refusal and `details[]` the offending field or cell
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden — missing scope, insufficient role, or plan limit reached
- `404`: Not found
