# Delete a feed

`DELETE /v1/feeds/{fid}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.banksync.io`
- URL: `https://api.banksync.io/v1/feeds/{fid}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Moves the feed to trash: it stops syncing, is no longer listed or returned (404), and frees its place in the plan’s feed limit. It can be restored from Trash in the app for 30 days, after which it is deleted permanently with its sync history.

- `fid` string, required: Feed ID
