# Is a date a business day?

`GET /v1/business-day`

## Request

Returns whether date is a business day on the calendar, why not (weekend or the holiday name, per calendar), and the next and previous business days. On shortened trading sessions (e.g. NYSE 1:00 p.m. closes) the response also includes early_closes with the local close time. Alias: /v1/is-business-day.
