# Permanently delete a webhook so its name can be used again.

`DELETE /v1/workspaces/{workspaceId}/webhooks/{endpointId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bangermail.com`
- URL: `https://api.bangermail.com/v1/workspaces/{workspaceId}/webhooks/{endpointId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

An outbound endpoint is deleted with its delivery history. An incoming webhook is deleted with its connection, and only while no Journey, archived ones included, uses that connection as a trigger or goal. To stop a webhook and keep it, PATCH its status to disabled instead.

## Response `204`

Webhook deleted.

## Other responses

- `404`: No webhook with this identifier in the workspace.
- `409`: webhook_in_use. Journeys still use the incoming webhook's connection as a trigger or goal; error.details.journey_ids lists them.
