# Make a workspace the signed-in person's current workspace.

`POST /v1/workspaces/{workspaceId}/select`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bangermail.com`
- URL: `https://api.bangermail.com/v1/workspaces/{workspaceId}/select`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Browser sessions only; API keys and OAuth grants are pinned to the workspace they were authorized for and receive 403 credential_workspace_pinned. Requires an active membership. The app then opens this workspace with its products and onboarding. The person's onboarding journey is not reset. Idempotent.

## Response `200`

The workspace is selected.

## Other responses

- `403`: credential_workspace_pinned: API keys and OAuth grants cannot switch workspaces.
- `404`: The workspace does not exist or the person is not an active member.
