# Merge Tables Status

`GET /merge-tables/status`

Diagnostic endpoint for the UI/admin.

Note: state inside the file is informational.  A previous crash may leave
state="running" in the JSON, but the next POST /merge-tables will still
recover automatically because the OS lock is authoritative.
