# Get Timesheet Summary

`GET /api/v1/time-tracking/timesheets/{id}/summary`

## Request

Returns the daily breakdown of hours for a timesheet, including regular, overtime, and double-time hours per day. Every date in the pay period is represented; days with no logged hours return 0.0 in each bucket.

Successfully retrieved the timesheet summary.

- TimesheetTimesheetDailySummaryV1: Daily breakdown of a timesheet, partitioned by rate bucket, covering every date in the pay period.
  - `timesheetId` integer, required: Identifier for the timesheet.
  - `dailyEntries` TimesheetTimesheetDailyEntryV1[], required: Daily entries covering every date in the pay period (inclusive), ordered ascending.
    - `date` string, date, required: The calendar date being rolled up.
    - `totalHours` number, float, required: Sum of all hours on this day across rate buckets.
    - `regularHours` number, float, required: Hours in the regular (REG) rate bucket.
    - `overtimeHours` number, float, required: Hours in the overtime (OT) rate bucket.
    - `doubleTimeHours` number, float, required: Hours in the double-time rate bucket. Always 0.0 when the configuration defines no double-time.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized. Missing or invalid authentication.
- `403`: Forbidden. Insufficient permissions.
- `404`: Timesheet not found, or its pay period has not started yet.
