# Delete message

`DELETE /me/messages/{messageId}`

Delete a message in the specified user's mailbox, or delete a relationship of the message.

## Headers

- `If-Match` string

## Response `204`

If successful, the message is deleted and no content is returned. Unless, the message may not exist or the caller may lack the required permission.
