# Get a transaction by id

`GET /transactions/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000/api/admin`
- URL: `http://localhost:8000/api/admin/transactions/{id}`

Returns a single payment transaction — every column, the raw gateway `data` blob, and a slim summary of the linked order. Requires `sales.transactions.view` permission.

- `id` integer, required

## Response `200`

The transaction.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid admin token.
- `403`: Admin role lacks sales.transactions.view.
- `404`: Unknown transaction id.
