# Create a search term

`POST /marketing/search-terms`

## Request

Manually create a search term with an optional redirect URL for a channel and locale. Mirrors the admin Search & SEO → Search Terms create form.

## Request body

- object
  - `term` string, required
  - `redirect_url` string, nullable
  - `channel_id` integer, required
  - `locale` string, required

## Response `201`

Search term created; returns the detail.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input
- `422`: Validation failure.
