# Extract topics from input

`POST /topics`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rosette.com/rest/v1`
- URL: `https://api.rosette.com/rest/v1/topics`
- Auth: API key in header `X-RosetteAPI-Key`

Returns each topic extracted from the input. <br><br>The response is a list of extracted keyphrases and a list of extracted concepts.

## Request body

    - `content` string
    - `language` string: 3 letter code of language.
    - `options` object
      - `conceptSalienceThreshold` number: Topics are only returned if the concept salience is greater than the threshold. Threshold must be between 0 and 1.
      - `keySalienceThreshold` number: Topics are only returned if the keyphrase salience is greater than the threshold. Threshold must be between 0 and 1.
  - object
    - `contentUri` string
    - `language` string: 3 letter code of language.
